A few simple guidelines to help you understand travel fees, recommended visit schedules and how multi-visit bookings work.
Travel Fees
Paws N Whiskers Pet Care is based in Mambourin, with travel included within a 5 km radius.
How Many Visits Does My Dog Need?
Every pet has different needs, but we’ll always recommend a visit schedule based on your pet’s individual circumstances.
1–2 visits per day may be suitable depending on the individual dog. We generally recommend at least two visits where possible, as dogs benefit from regular human interaction and companionship.
A minimum of 3 visits per day is required to provide regular opportunities for toileting. Depending on your dog’s age, health and individual needs, more frequent visits may be recommended.
Visits Can Be Combined
Visits do not all need to be long. Paw Stops and Express Paw Stops can be combined throughout the day to provide a balance of exercise, companionship and essential care.
Multi-Visit Bookings
Booking multiple visits together? Multi-visit bookings receive a discounted rate, making regular care more affordable.
- Discounts apply when multiple visits are booked together.
- The discount is applied to additional visits within the same booking.
- Paw Stops and Express Paw Stops can be combined in the same booking.
- Travel fees, where applicable, are charged per visit.
Additional Dogs
Straightforward care for multiple pets does not automatically attract an additional pet fee.
- Additional pets are included for standard in-home care where their needs are straightforward.
- For walks, the standard rate includes up to 2 dogs.
- Each additional dog requiring the walk is +$10 per additional dog.
- Complex or intensive care may attract an additional fee depending on the level of care required.
These guidelines provide a general starting point. Your pet’s individual needs, routine and circumstances will always be discussed before care begins so we can make sure the service booked is the right fit.
